Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi – Queen Elizabeth Game drive – Kazinga Chanel Boat cruise
Day 1: Kampala - Queen Elizabeth National Park:
Your guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel for transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth is the most popular park in Uganda as it offers diverse ecosystems, classic big game, 10 primate species and over 600 bird species .You will have a lunch break at Igongo Cultural Centre, tour the cultural center and later proceed to the park through stunning valleys and cool views of lake George and Edward .you will arrive for an evening game drive before checking-in at your lodge for the night.
Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park:
After an early morning breakfast Head out for a morning game drive starting with the Kasenyi Sector of the Park, the Kasenyi plains are excellent for sighting lion, large herds of Uganda kob and water buffalos. The Mweya peninsula offers excellent game drives with magnificent views across the water to the Rwenzori Mountains. Mweya is one of the best places to look for leopard, which live in the dense, scrubby thickets. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon go for a Launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel.The Channel is home to one of the greatest concentration of hippo in Africa, Nile crocs. Herds of elephant, buffalo and other animals come to drink at the water’s edge. The channel is a magnet for water birds, with great flocks of pelicans and others birds on the shore, and a great spot to see African fish eagle and the famous shoe bill. After the two hours channel experience cruise return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Ishasha- Bwindi Impenetrable National Park:
After breakfast proceed to the Ishasha sector with your packed lunch .You will conduct another Game drive to spot climbing lions resting on sycamore trees. After the game drive you will drive for some 2 hours to Buhoma Sector,Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Day 4:Buhoma Gorilla Tracking:
After an early breakfast, you set off gorilla tracking. Trekking through the cool steep, densely forested hills before coming to the gorillas we are sure you will enjoy every bit of the hike. For one hour you are allowed to watch these majestic giants! Depending on the duration of the track you can either relax in the afternoon at the lodge and just enjoy the view or go for a community walk around and explore the culture.
Day 5: Bwindi - Kampala/Entebbe via Lake Mburo national park:
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo for your only chance to see the zebras, on your game drive you will have an infinity pool overlooking the valley below where buffalo, eland, impala, warthogs, bush buck and zebra can be seen at the waterhole. Overnight: Mihingo Lodge, an eco-friendly lodge in the vicinity of all the above specious features and wild life
